Forget Me Not

I was commissioned to make a piece that would go to a young lady who made the very selfless and brave decision to give her baby boy up for adoption. My best friend and her husband had adopted 3 beautiful boys themselves and they wanted to give this young lady something that would be heartfelt. Before making this piece I prayed and asked God to inspire me. My idea was to split a teacup into two sides and to fill them with blue forget me nots. In the middle I was asked to put "You are Loved". After mailing this art I received this beautiful affirmation in a letter written by the birth mom. Another "God Wink" that God blesses us in so many ways. Receiving this was so special to me and I continue to pray for the young lady and her little boy she placed in the hands of a loving family

Hello!

I just got the beautiful broken glass

art and HAD to text you because the gift is not only beautiful, but totally in line

with something God was talking to me about TODAY. I've been journaling

throughout this whole experience, and today I wrote a journal entry I titled

"broken glass". Today I wrote about how God has taught me about the art

work He creates with broken things, and how I felt like he had been collecting

things I thought were broken and was making artwork for me. And then I just

opened this gift! I'm at a loss for words. I love it. Thank you so so so much. I

have such a deep thankfulness for you and your role in this journey. Your

prayers, support, and love have meant the world to me, and have given me so

much courage. I greatly look forward to meeting you in person some day. You

have a direct line with God, Mr. Larry! You hear Him

so clearly, and I'm so thankful for how you share His voice with others. I will

cherish this gift, this beautiful artwork made from broken glass, for my whole

life! Thank you so, SO much.
