Welcome to My Creative World!

 

If my life had a theme song, the lyrics would go something like this:
Be your own artist. Bloom where you're planted. Get creative. Reinvent. Repurpose.
Wherever life takes you, make it feel like home.

 

I’m Christel—a glass artist, real estate broker, mentor, and creative soul. My journey started as a military brat and later, a military spouse, moving from place to place, constantly reimagining what "home" meant. Each move was a new adventure, introducing me to fresh perspectives, incredible people, and inspiration that now shines through in my glass art.

With every new assignment, I learned to embrace the unfamiliar, turning houses into sanctuaries and finding beauty in reinvention. That love for transformation became the heart of my career—helping others create spaces that truly feel like home.

 

Armed with a BS in Business (Textiles & Merchandising) from Texas State University and over 20 years in retail management and real estate, I now mentor agents at Realty One Group Apex and help clients find their perfect place as a Broker with Colorado Real Estate Referral Network. No matter where you are, I can help connect you with the right realtor!

 

But my creative passion doesn’t stop there…In 2017, I fell in love with glass art, and what started as a small creative outlet has grown into Christel Art. I transform recycled glass into unique, vibrant pieces that bring joy, light, and a little magic into any space. If you ever want to see the process in action, or participate in a “Crack and Create” art class my home studio is always open for a visit!

Now that my kids are grown and my husband has transitioned from the Air Force to the Space Force, we’ve planted roots in beautiful Monument, Colorado. When I’m not creating, you’ll find me hiking, skiing, teaching water aerobics or exploring the great outdoors with our golden retriever by my side.
